From humble beginnings to where we are today.

On a stormy night eleven years ago, the first lines of code were written in a basement in Newmarket, ON. The province’s Long Term Care industry faced radical legislative changes that would ultimately impact the majority of care providers across the nation. New tools were required to meet these new compliance measures and reporting burdens. That night, Surge Learning was born.

With more than 40 years of combined experience in Continuing Care, our co-founders crafted a solution with one clear goal:
